How to start fundraising

There are a number of simple ways that you can fundraise for the Bill Tingate Brain Cancer Foundation including - attending one of our Foundation events, fundraising through Everyday Hero partnered events, participating in our World Expeditions program or creating your own fundraising activity. More details below.

The Foundation is a registered fundraiser in Victoria (FR-000014934). You can be assured that all of your fundraising efforts through our various programs will be directed to the Foundation to support our important cause. Currently we are only registered to conduct public fundraising in Victoria. In the future we hope to extend these fundraising options to other states.

By attending one of our Foundation events you will be directly supporting our fundriasing campaigns. Current Foundation events are listed below.
Everyday Hero, fundraising platform
We have partnered with Everyday Hero, a peer-to-peer fundraising platform, to give you a whole new range of exciting options to fundraise for the Foundation.
  • Fundraise for the Foundation while participating in some of Victoria's iconic community events. Currently available events can be found below. Step 1 - Register to enter the event. Step 2 - Set up your fundraising page linked to the Foundation Team using the Everyday Hero platform and start fundraising by sharing your page with friends, family and colleagues.
  • If you are feeling creative, you can now be inspired and hold your own fundraising activity - such as a dinner, walk or challenge. Simply set up your own fundraising activity page using the Everyday Hero platform and start fundraising by sharing your page with friends, family and colleagues.

World Expeditions and Huma Charity Challenge programs
The Foundation has partnered with global trekking and adventure specialist World Expeditions and Huma Charity Challenge. Bill Tingate took a number of adventures with World Expeditions - Everest Base Camp, Mt Kilimanjaro, and Mont Blanc. We are inspired by his adventures to challenge you to join us in booking a World Expeditions tour, and at the same time raise funds for the Foundation.
